How to remove the crankshaft seal on 2008 Toyota Avalon?

The first step to remove crankshaft main bearing seal on 2GR-FE engines requires complete removal of the automatic transaxle assembly. The drive plate and ring gear or flywheel need removal after holding the crankshaft with Special Service Tool: 09213-70011 and 09213-70020. Unscrew the 8 bolts to discard the front spacer and drive plate and rear spacer. Use a screwdriver taped at the tip to extract the engine rear oil seal by first cutting its lip with a knife.
