You need to apply MP grease onto the new timing chain case oil seal lips prior to installing its front crankshaft seal on a 2GR-FE engine. Special Service Tools 09223-22010 & 09506-35010 require use with a hammer to strike the timing chain case oil seal until its surface matches the timing chain cover edge while maintaining between 0 to 1.0 mm (0 to 0.0393 in.) depth and keeping the lip seal free from foreign matter while staying clear of angling during tapping operations. Place the crankshaft pulley on first and after that install the fan and generator V belt keeping the V-ribbed belt in its correct position. After performing the installation add the front wheel RH along with the V-bank cover sub-assembly.
