When installing the front crankshaft seal for the 2UZ-FE engine start by applying MP grease onto the lip of the new oil seal. Special Service Tool: 09316-60011 with a hammer enables the operator to tap the oil seal so it touches the edge of the oil pump body. The timing pulley set key must be positioned into the pulley's key groove and Special Service Tool: 09223-46011 with a hammer should be used for tapping the timing pulley in while the flange side faces toward the inside. Finish the installation process by putting the timing belt into place.
