  A: Before installing each fuel injector on the 2AZ-FE engine you must apply gasoline or spindle oil to new O-rings and place one onto each fuel injector. After applying gasoline or spindle oil slightly to the fuel delivery pipe region touching the fuel injector O-ring, reinstall right and left fuel injectors into the fuel delivery pipe while checking that the O-ring remains intact and free from damage. The appearance of resistance when rotating the fuel injector requires a new O-ring replacement. The fuel delivery pipe sub-assembly requires installation of 4 new insulators onto the cylinder head before positioning the 2 delivery pipe spacers. Connect the fuel delivery pipe to its 4 fuel injectors while you tighten the 2 bolts lightly so the injectors do not fall by accident. Examine the fuel injector during rotation for any signs of smooth movement while you might need to interchange the O-ring in this step. Secure the 4 fuel injector connectors then fit the 2 wire harness clamps after tightening the 2 delivery pipe bolts to 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf). Position the No. 2 ventilation hose towards the ventilation valve with paint marks and clamp orientation at the correct angle before connection. Attach the fuel main tube by connecting its connector so it clicks shut before applying the No. 2 fuel pipe clamp while securely fixing the fuel tube inside the fuel hose clamp. Complete the installation of air cleaner cap sub-assembly with hose then conduct fuel leak inspection before you install the No. 1 engine cover sub-assembly.
