How to install the Engine Control Module (ECM) on 2008 Scion tC?

The 2AZ-FE engine control system requires installation of the Engine Control Module (ECM) through bolted attachment using a screw which should be tightened to 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf). When installing the ECM adapter hook up its 4 connectors then secure the clamp for the wire harness. You should then install the glove compartment door. Apply the cable to the negative battery terminal after finishing all installation steps. The initialization process must be performed when specific systems need it after cable removal from the negative (-) battery terminal.
