    A: Performing the installation of a 2AZ-FE engine control system Crankshaft Position Sensor requires checking the O-ring for damage before placement of sensor components. Engine oil should be used to lightly coat the O-ring before installing the sensor with its bolt while tightening it to 9.0 Nm (90 kgf-cm, 80 in-lbf). After that, install the wire harness clamp followed by the connector clamp before connecting the sensor connector. The sensor wire harness must be attached properly to its clamp bracket located on the timing chain cover rib. Start the generator assembly setup and afterward position the fan and generator V belt. Inspect for engine oil leakage when the negative battery terminal connector cable is established. The initialization procedure should be performed following front fender apron seal installation on the right-hand side next to installation of the front fender apron seal itself since some systems need this step after disconnecting the negative battery cable.
