To access the starter assembly begin by unscrewing the terminal cap followed by disconnection of the starter wire through its nut and removal of both starter connector and two bolts holding the starter in place. Place the starter assembly correctly and bolt it to position using two bolts which should be torqued to 58 N.m (591 kgf.cm, 43 ft.lbf). Connect the starter connector followed by attaching the starter wire via its nut and secure it at 9.8 N.m (100 kgf.cm, 87 in.lbf) torque before final installation of the terminal cap. Connect the negative battery terminal cable while acknowledging that particular systems need to perform an initialization process after reconnection.
