How to remove and install the Front Center Seat Belt for Bench Seat Type on 2007 Toyota Tacoma?

You must start the Front Center Seat Outer Belt removal for Bench Seat Type by disengaging all 6 claws on the back panel trim cover then completing the same process on the other side. The next step involves unpocketing the back panel upper garnish followed by the seat belt retractor cover removal by dislodging its 4 clips. Begin removal of the rear center seat outer belt assembly by unfastening its 2 bolts followed by the shoulder anchor and then the 2 bolts and retractor. The 2 bolts need removal to detach the seat belt bracket and after that remove the 2 bolts of the tether anchor bracket sub-assembly. The first step of installation starts with the tether anchor bracket sub-assembly by inserting its claw into the body hole followed by tightening bolt A to 20 N.m then bolt B to 20 N.m (205 kgf.cm, 15 ft.lbf). Fasten the seat belt bracket into place using 2 bolts while torquing them to 20 N.m (205 kgf.cm, 15 ft.lbf). Install the rear seat shoulder belt guide by making sure the retractor inclines properly to secure the belt which should not achieve lock below 15 degrees and must achieve it at 45 degrees or higher. Use the lower retractor stay to connect both hooks of the seat belt bracket before torquing the bolt A to 8.5 N.m and bolt B to 42 N.m. Lastly check the ELR lock function with the seat belt installed by verifying quick pull release locks the belt. Tighten two bolts on the shoulder anchor to 42 N.m (430 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf). Install the seat retractor cover with four clips and mount the back panel upper garnish and back panel trim cover using six claws that need repeating on the second side.
