Wipe the negative terminal lead free then let it sit for 90 seconds before cable disconnect to avoid activating Air Bags and seat belts. Service the Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve by removing first the engine room No. 2 relay block after unbolted and eliminating its block then securing the 4 wire harness clamps. The air cleaning procedure begins by opening the clamp then disconnecting the No. 1 air cleaner inlet from the air cleaner case followed by disconnecting the connector from the mass air flow meter and removing its wire harness clamp. To remove the air cleaner assembly perform two clamp loosening procedure then eliminate two bolts before removing the air cleaner assembly. By disconnecting the fuel injector connector and ignition coil connector as well as removing the 3 bolts and wire harness clamp the wire harness can be disconnected. First remove the cover on top of the brake master cylinder reservoir before disconnecting the ventilation hose and extracting the ventilation valve. When installing the ventilation valve it must be positioned on the cylinder head cover before torquing it to 27 N.m (275 kgf.cm, 20 ft.lbf). Install the brake master cylinder reservoir cover against the cylinder head cover while securing the wire harness along with its cover through 3 bolt torques at 9.0 N.m (92 kgf.cm, 80 in.lbf). Then reconnect both the fuel injector and ignition coil connectors. Reinstall the air cleaner assembly using 2 bolts before tightening the clamp bolt to 7.0 N.m (71 kgf.cm, 62 in.lbf) and the clamp to 3.0 N.m (31 kgf.cm, 27 in.lbf). Secure the No. 1 air cleaner inlet to the air cleaner case by clamping it at 3.0 N.m (31 kgf.cm, 27 in.lbf). Reinstall the engine room No. 2 relay block by tightening two bolts to 8.4 N.m (86 kgf.cm, 74 in.lbf) before reconnecting the negative battery terminal cable and setting back the rear No. 3 floor board followed by the rear deck floor box and the rear No. 2 floor board.
