    A: A technician must first cut off battery cable exposure to terminal then let time pass for ninety seconds before continuing to prevent Air Bag deployment. Following the removal of the engine under cover RH proceed by detaching the crankshaft position sensor by disconnecting its connector then eliminating the bolt and sensor. First install the sensor with its bolt by keeping a torque of 7.5 N.m (76 kgf.cm, 66 in.lbf) and reconnect the sensor connector. The engine under cover RH needs replacement before reconnecting to the negative battery terminal to perform initialization since some systems require subsequent cable attachment.
