How to service and repair the rear upper control arm on 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser?

The service of rear upper control arms begins by supporting the axle housing followed by nut removal which includes washer and bolt until the bolt stays fixed while extracting the nut. The procedure continues with removal of the nut along with washer and bolt so the upper control arm and turn the nut to fix the bolt. Before installation attach the upper control arm by fitting in the nut along with washer and bolt while maintaining a temporary torque on the connection. To stabilize the suspension jack down the vehicle while performing multiple bounces repeatedly. Seal the installation by tightening both nuts to 80 N m (816 kgf cm, 59 ft. lbf) and proceed with turning and installing the nut after fixing the bolt.
