The first step to service the rear lower control arm includes taking off the rear wheel. The parking brake cable assembly No. 3 requires detachment by bolting out the component and disconnecting it. Start the lower control arm assembly LH removal by disassembling the components on the rear axle housing including nut and washer and bolt using a turn and remove method for the bolt while keeping the nut secure. The procedure to remove the lower control arm assembly includes first taking away the nut and washer and bolt from the rear axle housing then turning and extracting the bolt as you maintain the nut position. Begin lower control arm LH installation by attaching the assembly to its position but leave the nut and washer and bolt loose at first. Begin by installing the rear axle housing while you momentarily secure it with the bolt then washer and nut. Installation of parking brake cable assembly No. 3 requires using the bolt to apply torque at 13 Nm (127 kgf/cm, 9 ft. lbs.). Install the rear wheel with torque amounts of 112 Nm (1,137 kgf/cm, 83 ft. lbs.) but stabilize the suspension first before tightening the 2 lower control arm assembly LH bolts to 130 Nm (1,326 kgf/cm, 96 ft. lbs.) by turning and removing the bolt while keeping the nut secure.
