  A: Service of the fuel injector begins with releasing system pressure through maintaining a steady engine idle until it shuts off while disconnecting clips and buttons and emptying tank pressure from the fuel cap then reattaching wiring and reinserting panels in reverse order. Reinstall the rear floor service hole cover after reconnecting the fuel pump connector followed by the rear seat cushion. The procedure begins with disconnecting the cable from the negative terminal before removing the engine cover sub-assembly followed by the air cleaner cap sub-assembly. Use the Special Service Tool: 09268-21010 to disconnect the fuel tube while avoiding bending through the process of unclamping the fuel pipe and cleaning the fuel tube connector. Severe any fuel residue inside the tube before covering the separated components with plastic bags.
