The Fuel Injector is an essential part that greatly contributes a big boost in the capability and dependability of Scion tC cars. The Fuel Injector is responsible for spraying fuel directly into the engine's cylinder, thus achieving an appropriate air-fuel blend, paramount to efficient combustion. This system runs using the Engine control Module, its main role is to adjust the scion tC fuel injector some flows of current according to the load of an engine thus making the Fuel Injector to be efficient and safe to use. Specifically designed for Scion tC cars with both direct and indirect fuel injection systems, the Fuel Injector is an essential element responsible for overall vehicle's powerplant condition. The returnless fuel injection system used in the Scion tC does away with needless fuel passages, therefore, makes the fuel injection system more reliable. Most notably, it must be pointed out that the Fuel Injector is developed for as much life cycle as possible; however, several issues may be encountered, including clogs or leakage, which will affect the vehicle engine. The Scion tC is considered as a budget car with sporty image and it is especially appealing to the youth, thus the problem of Fuel Injector reliability becomes more crucial. In light of the four attributes described, the Fuel Injector can be pinpointed as an exemplary automotive construct within the market due to compelling features that align it to the tC's performance-focused design.

Scion tC Fuel Injector Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to remove the fuel injectors on Scion tC?
    A:
The steps to remove fuel injectors from a 2AZ-FE engine begin with discharging fuel system pressure through these six sequential actions: clear the rear seat cushion and rear floor hole cover, disconnect the fuel pump connector while allowing engine idle until stalling, switch OFF ignition, pull fuel cap to reduce Fuel Tank pressure. Subsequently return the fuel pump connector then replace seat and hole cover. Reinstall the rear floor service hole cover together with the rear seat cushion after reconnecting the fuel pump connector. Shift to the negative battery terminal cable removal step followed by removal of the engine cover sub-assembly while also taking out the air cleaner cap sub-assembly. Remove the fuel pipe clamp to disconnect the fuel main tube then clean the fuel tube connector and utilize Special Service Tool: 09268-21010 to fit the retainer within the fuel tube connector into the tool's chamfered section before detaching the tube. Slip the tool into the fuel tube before pushing the fuel tube connector toward the instrument while placing the retainer onto the chamfered part. Keep sliding the components together until a click sound occurs before removing the fuel tube and draining residual fuel. Place the exposed components under plastic protection to cover them. Begin by disconnecting the No. 2 ventilation hose from the ventilation valve then proceed to remove the fuel delivery pipe sub-assembly through the steps of disjoining clamps from the 2 wire harnesses followed by disconnecting 4 fuel injector connectors and unfastening the 2 bolts which allow extracting the fuel delivery pipe including its 4 fuel injectors while maintaining their safety from drops. To complete the procedure remove the 2 delivery pipe spacers then extract the 4 insulators from the cylinder head followed by removing the 4 fuel injectors from the delivery pipe.
