How to service the front speed sensor on 2006 Toyota Solara?

Service of the front speed sensor requires front wheel and left-hand side fender liner removal before you disconnect the speed sensor connector and clamp and remove the two clamp bolts from the speed sensor harness. The speed sensor connector and clamp should be disconnected followed by removing the two clamp bolts to disconnect the sensor harness from the body and shock absorber. After removing the bolt which fastens the speed sensor front LH, inspect the sensor tip to prevent the accumulation of foreign matter. To install the speed sensor front LH mount it with the bolt at 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf) while keeping the sensor tip free of foreign matter. Use bolts "A" and "B" to install the sensor harness clamps by applying 5.0 N.m (51 kgf.cm, 44 in.lbf) for Bolt A and 19 N.m (192 kgf.cm, 14 in.lbf) for Bolt B. Then, connect the clamp to the knuckle and reattach the speed sensor connector and clamp. Fitting the front fender liner LH and front wheel requires applying 103 N.m (1,050 kgf.cm, 76 ft.lbf) torque. Quote the final step as a check of the ABS speed sensor signal.
