Starting the front wheel speed sensor service and repair process requires removal of the front wheel with a torque set at 110 N.m (1,122 kgf.cm, 81 ft.lbf). Before proceeding disconnect the speed sensor connector from its location. The third step is to remove the front speed sensor on the left-hand side by unfastening the clips and three clamp bolts which secure the sensor harness to frame, upper arm, and steering knuckle while applying 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf) torque. Use a 8.0 N.m torque to remove the bolt and the speed sensor from the steering knuckle. Follow the installation process by reversing the removal steps and verify the speed sensor signal after installation is complete.
