    A: The first step to remove the Front Passenger Air Bag Assembly requires disconnecting the negative battery cable terminal followed by waiting at least 90 seconds to avoid Air Bag and seat belt pretensioner activation. First remove the glove compartment door assembly and disconnect the Air Bag connector without causing harm to the Air Bag wire harness. The instrument panel sub-assembly upper should be removed followed by disconnection of the clip and connectors to extract the instrument panel wire assembly. Detach the 2 screws after unhooking the front side Air Bag door following slight deflection and moving the front passenger Air Bag assembly to the rearward position. The service technician should free the rear side Air Bag door from its hook then remove the front passenger Air Bag assembly. Start installation by using two screws to install the front passenger Air Bag assembly and then follow it with connecting the connectors to the Air Bag before adding the clip before placing the instrument panel sub-assembly upper. The sensor cable installation requires users to attach it to the Air Bag while avoiding harm to the Air Bag wire harness. Proceed to install the glove compartment door assembly followed by reconnecting the cable to the negative battery terminal and system initialization is required since disconnecting and reconnecting the cable demands system initialization. Conclude the inspection by examining the SRS warning light.
