    A: One should start by adhering to safety measures for working with Air Bag Systems before starting the Front Passenger Air Bag replacement process. The negative terminal of the battery must be disconnected while waiting at least 90 seconds before starting the procedure. First remove the glove compartment door assembly while also disconnecting the front passenger Air Bag assembly connector with standard safety precautions for the Air Bag wire harness. First remove the instrument panel sub-assembly upper containing the front passenger Air Bag assembly before disassembling the instrument panel wire assembly while taking out the necessary clip and disconnecting all front passenger Air Bag assembly connectors. Reopen the front side Air Bag door with slight deflection until the hook releases its grip then remove the assembly by gently moving it backward to detach from the other hook. Before returning the front passenger Air Bag assembly to its position, your next step should be installing the instrument panel wire assembly while correctly installing the clip and connecting the two connectors to the front passenger Air Bag assembly during careful Air Bag wire harness handling. The front passenger Air Bag assembly joins with the instrument panel sub-assembly upper before connecting its connector. Reconnect the battery negative terminal before you start the initialization of power window control system and sliding roof system followed by SRS warning light inspection.
