You need to remove the ignition coil assembly together with the cylinder head cover sub-assembly by taking out ten bolts and three seal washers and two nuts. Procedures should also be performed to separate the cylinder head cover sub-assembly LH. The first step involves moving the crankshaft pulley until the cylinder No.1 achieves TDC and aligns the timing mark "0" while the camshaft timing gears must maintain their marked position on the bearing caps so check the crankshaft position if necessary by performing one complete turn to mark the first chain links. Use a stopper plate fixed by a 3.5 mm bar while lightly pressing the plunger of assembly No.1 during its removal process. Avoid crankshaft rotation while working on the tensioner.
