Unplug the vehicle speed sensor connector and remove its assembly component by unscrewing the bolt followed by taking off the clip and speedometer driven gear along with the installed O-ring. Apply ATF to a new O-ring before you put it onto the vehicle speed sensor then place the speedometer driven gear with its clip onto the sensor followed by the sensor assembly bolt installation while achieving 5.5 Nm torque (56 kgf-cm, 49 inch lbs.). Connect the speed sensor connector while attaching the ECM bracket using a bolt torque to 18 Nm and tightening the nut to 12 Nm. The energy control module should be installed together with its housing using 6.9 Nm (70 kgf-cm, 61 inch lbs.) torque while the battery needs to be reinstalled last.
