Begin the procedure by removing the top control arm nut accompanied by its washer and bolt that anchors to the frame then secure the torque at 86 Nm (880 kgf-cm, 64 ft. lbs.) after suspension stabilization. Move to the second step by detaching the upper control arm from the rear axle housing while removing its nut and washer followed by bolt using a 86 Nm (880 kgf-cm, 64 ft. lbs.) torque setting. Detach the lower control arm by removing its frame securing nut and bolt then stabilize the suspension before torquing the connection to 145 Nm (1,480 kgf-cm, 107 ft. lbs.). Detach the lower control arm by removing its rear axle housing bolt and nut and washer according to the torque specifications of 145 Nm (1,480 kgf-cm, 107 ft. lbs.). To replace the lower control arm bushing use Special Service Tools: 09710-14013 (09710-00021, 09710-00061) and 09950-70010 (09951-07150) along with a press for bushing removal followed by installation with 09506-35010, 09710-14013 (09710-00021) and a press. Both left-hand side and right-hand side door mirror assemblies receive the same reverse installation procedures after completing the entire process.
