    A: A professional must start the front shock absorber with coil spring service by first unmounting the front wheel then applying 110 Nm torque. Begin by disconnecting the shock absorber from the lower suspension arm by loosening the bolt then removing the lower nut and washer with a torque of 135 Nm (1,400 kgf.cm, 101 ft. lbs.). After that lower the suspension arm to extract the bolt and separate the shock absorber. The shock absorber and coil spring require removal after the removal of three nuts with a torque limit set to 64 Nm (650 kgf.cm, 47 ft. lbs.). The disassembly process requires Special Service Tools 09727-00060 and 09727-30021 which should be used to compress the coil spring until both ends reveal clearance but avoid unnecessary compression and never depend on an impact wrench. The first step includes removing the suspension support center nut and continuing with the removal of 2 retainers, cushion, suspension support along with the coil spring. Operations on the shock absorber include compression and extension testing of the rod to identify unusual sounds or resistance levels after which it should be replaced if issues occur. The shock absorber rod requires full extension when preparing for disposal allowing drilling on the cylinder to vent the gas while handling the created debris. Replace the suspension bushing with Special Service Tools: 09506-35010 and 09632-36010 in combination with a press while omitting lubrication. Use the combination of Special Service Tools 09727-00060 and 09727-30021 to compress the coil spring prior to mounting the spring to the shock absorber by inserting the lower end into the spring seat gap. Insert the two retainers along with suspension support and cushion onto the rod before tightening the new suspension support center nut temporarily while aligning the suspension support against the shock absorber lower bushing before removing the Special Service Tool followed by another suspension support direction check. To finish the installation torques should be applied to the suspension center nut at 25 Nm (250 kgf.cm, 18 ft. lbs.) and the sequence of removal should be followed in the reverse order.
