    Q:
How to install the front speed sensor LH and the front skid control sensor wire LH on Toyota Land Cruiser? Posted by Customer
    A:
You can install the front speed sensor LH by securing it with a bolt using a 5 mm hexagon wrench and applying 8.3 Nm of torque (85 kgf-cm, 73 in-lbf). Additionally you must double check for any foreign matter near the sensor tip. Semiconductor cables must be fed through the knuckle hole without hitting the tip or causing damage to it. Confirm that no matter obstructs the sensor and knuckle connection or the speed sensor rotor. Connect the connector of the front skid control sensor wire LH first while installing its harness clamp with a bolt needing a torque of 13 Nm (127 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf) and maintaining the correct wire harness alignment and clamp rotation stopper position. Staff should place two extra harness clamps through bolts which need a torque setting of 13 Nm (127 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf) and secure the final clamp through a nut at this same torque value while keeping all clamps in their correct places. Complete the speed sensor connector connection procedure. Install the front speed sensor RH using an exact copy of the above procedures while maintaining the specified torque values. Add the skid control sensor clamp to the front RH wire using its labeled bolt at 5.0 Nm tightness followed by completing the connector connection and performing harness clamp setup just as for the LH side. The wheel torque must be set to 131 Nm (1336 kgf-cm, 97 ft-lbf) followed by positive battery termnial reattachment and verification of speed sensor signal output.
