Service of the Camshaft Position Sensor begins by using a V-bank cover, engine coolant drain, upper radiator hose disconnect, then LH No.3 timing belt cover removal. Proceed by dissembling the camshaft position sensor by first eradicating its bolt then extracting both its stud bolt and its sensor itself. The installation of the camshaft position sensor requires placing it into position with the bolt and stud bolt but only under a torque of 7.5 Nm (80 kg.cm, 66 in.lb). Reinstall the LH No.3 timing belt cover after reconnecting the radiator hose then install the V-bank cover. When finished with the process you should fill the coolant reservoir then examine for leaks before verifying the ignition timing.

The Camshaft Position Sensor service requires vehicle operators to remove the engine coolant and drive belt before taking out the LH No.3 timing belt cover. First remove the camshaft position sensor through the process of dismantling its bolt then stud bolt followed by removal of the sensor. Set the camshaft position sensor into its designated slot using bolt and stud bolt accessory and tighten them to 7.5 N.m (80 kgf.cm, 66 in.lbf). Reinstall the LH No.3 timing belt cover and then install the drive belt on its holder. After filling the engine coolant you need to verify the ignition timing while checking for any leaks that may have developed.

Service of the Camshaft Position Sensor requires technicians to start by draining engine coolant followed by drive belt removal and LH No.3 timing belt cover removal. Follow the next step by removing the camshaft position sensor after taking out its bolt connection and the sensor itself along with the stud bolt. Reinstall the camshaft position sensor by using the bolt and stud bolt while tightening them with 7.5Nm torque which equals 80 kg.cm and 66 in.lb. Begin installation by first putting back the LH No.3 timing belt cover after which you can install the drive belt. Complete filling the engine coolant before inspecting for leaks while also verifying the ignition timing.

Take out the bolt and stud bolt.

Place the camshaft position sensor back in position using the bolt and stud bolt.

Disconnect the upper radiator hose.

Remove the bolt and stud bolt.

Drain the engine coolant.

Take out the bolt and stud bolt to remove the camshaft position sensor.

Drain the engine coolant.

Place the camshaft position sensor back in position using the bolt and stud bolt.

Reconnect the camshaft position sensor connector and reinstall the No.2 timing belt cover.

Take out the bolt and stud bolt to remove the camshaft position sensor.

Remove the NO.2 TIMING BELT COVER.
