    Before assembling the oil pump for the 2AZ-FE lubrication system start by applying engine oil to the drive rotor and driven rotor then place them into the pump while the marks should face towards the pump cover. The installation of the oil pump cover requires using 5 bolts at 8.8 Nm (90 kgf-cm, 78 in-lbf) torque. The procedure for assembling the relief valve starts with oil coating the valve then placing it together with the spring inside the pump body until you tighten the plug using a 27 mm wrench to 49 Nm torque (500 kgf-cm, 36 ft-lbf). The last step involves installing a new gasket and oil strainer with 2 nuts while tightening them to 8.8 Nm (90 kgf-cm, 78 in-lbf).
