The process of installing the rear shock absorber starts with installing 3 cushion retainers and cushion No. 1 along with cushion No. 3 and the shock absorber using a new nut. The shock absorber needs to be secured through installation of bolt and nut and washer followed by final tightening of the nut to 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf). Beginning by installing the rear wheel then securely tighten it to 113 Nm (1,152 kgf-cm, 83 ft-lbf) torque. The suspension requires stabilization through jacking down the vehicle followed by multiple bouncing movements. Complete the tightening process of the rear shock absorber nut by reaching a torque of 100 Nm (1,020 kgf-cm, 74 ft-lbf).
