  A: The initial step for repairing the fuel pressure regulator involves draining fuel system pressure. Either a Coupe or Convertible requires the removal of its rear seat cushion assembly before removing the rear floor service hole cover and disconnecting the fuel pump connector. Start by taking out the tube joint clip before pulling the fuel pump tube from its sub-assembly while taking caution not to let dirt access the fuel tube joint.
