When installing the rear wiper motor start with MP grease application on the entire wiper motor grommet lip surface while preserving hole clearance and filling the grooves with grease before mounting the grommet with its mark directed upward. Install the rear wiper motor by securing it with 3 bolts that reach 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf) torque value while connecting the connector and clamp. For the rear wiper blade assembly, scrape any metal powder off the serrated part of the wiper arm with a round file, clean the wiper pivot serrations with a wire brush, operate the wiper, and stop the windshield wiper motor in the automatic stop position before installing the rear wiper arm in the specified position with the nut, also torqued to 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf), ensuring the arm is positioned on the linear wiper step before tightening the nut while holding the arm hinge down by hand. The rear wiper head cap requires fitting the claw first as you progress to install the back door service hole cover along with the back door trim board assembly, back door pull strap and back door strap cover and back door side garnish LH and RH and back door center garnish followed by the power back door rod when it is equipped with power functionality.
