First install the new engine coolant temperature sensor and its gasket in the 2UZ-FE engine control system by tightening it to a torque of 20 Nm (200 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf). After fitting the engine coolant temperature sensor connector to the sensor attach a new gasket then install the engine coolant temperature sensor. Torque the gasket to 20 Nm (200 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf). You must install the air cleaner hose assembly after which you should add engine coolant and verify there are no leaks in the engine coolant system. The last step involves installation of the throttle body cover sub-assembly.
