A hexagon wrench with 5.0 mm or 0.20 in. measurements should be used to unfasten the 2 bolts that secure the expansion valve while applying 3.5 N.m (35 kgf.cm) torque or 30 in.lbf torque. Front all exposed fittings to stop external particles while applying compressor oil for the new O-rings before you seal them onto the tube and valve. The final step requires performing installation by reversing the order from removal.
