Replace the side Air Bag sensor with a new unit if the sensor has experienced dropping or displays any cases of crack formation or denting or case or bracket or connector structural defects. Install the SRS wiring with care during the installation process while verifying that no parts are damaged by pinching and checking for full insertion of the pin into the body hole when holding the sensor to prevent stopper damage. The installation should be completed by double-checking parts stability before connecting the connector between the side Air Bag sensor while maintaining safe distance from the Air Bag wire harness. You should install the lower center pillar garnish followed by attaching the rear door opening trim Weather Strip before putting on the rear door scuff plate and connecting the front door opening trim Weather Strip plus installing the front door scuff plate. The cable must be connected to the negative battery terminal while keeping in mind that certain systems need initialization after reconnection and the SRS warning light should be inspected for proper functioning.
