The navigation antenna assembly requires two screws for securing before clamping it three times. Begin by installing the center heater to register sub duct before moving to the sequence of installing the defroster nozzle assembly and side No. 2 defroster nozzle duct along with side No. 1 defroster nozzle duct. Set up No. 4 heater to register duct and after that position No. 1 heater to register duct. After that install the instrument panel safety pad assembly while connecting the instrument panel wire assembly. The installation of front No. 2 speaker assemblies begins by securing the LH side unit and progresses through installing the No. 1 instrument panel speaker panel sub-assembly and ending with attaching both speaker assemblies on the RH side using the same procedure established for the LH side. Install the No. 2 instrument panel speaker panel sub-assembly then proceed to install the front pillar garnish LH while connecting the front door opening trim Weather Strip LH. The installation of front pillar garnish RH demands the same methods as for the front door opening trim Weather Strip RH. The manufacturer suggested order is to install the engine switch (w/ Smart Key System) followed by front No. 2 console box insert and front No. 1 console box insert. The installation order includes the console box assembly (w/o Rear Air Conditioning System) and the console box assembly (w/ Rear Air Conditioning System), then the lower rear console box and No. 2 console box duct (w/o Rear Air Conditioning System). The installation process requires upper console panel sub-assembly followed by lower instrument panel sub-assembly and No. 2 instrument panel under cover sub-assembly. The technician should begin installation by placing the lower instrument panel finish panel sub-assembly for Manual and Automatic Air Conditioning Systems followed by the cowl side trim sub-assembly LH with front door scuff plate LH and the cowl side trim sub-assembly RH with front door scuff plate RH. The installation includes mounting the navigation receiver assembly with bracket together with heater control assembly and accessory assembly for Manual Air Conditioning System while using the air conditioning control assembly for Automatic Air Conditioning System. The installer should position and connect the center instrument cluster finish panel assembly for both w/o and w/ Smart Key System together with the center instrument panel register assembly the combination meter assembly and instrument cluster finish panel assembly. Put both front wheels directly ahead before installing the turn signal switch assembly with spiral cable sub-assembly under the covering of the steering column. Perform adjustment of the spiral cable sub-assembly before the installation of the
Steering Wheel assembly followed by a steering wheel center point examination. Mount the steering pad together with lower No. 2 steering wheel cover and lower No. 3 steering wheel cover. The last task involves connecting the cable to the negative battery terminal and observing the steering pad while the SRS warning light. Note that some systems require initialization before reconnecting.
