  The minimal pad lining thickness for changeout is 1.0 mm (0.039 inch). Before the pad replacement you must remove the wheel along with inspecting pad lining through the caliper inspection hole. Raise the caliper while pinning the bottom sliding knob and unscrew the bolt then securely tie the caliper until hose removal. The brake pads removal process should include both the anti-squeal shims and pad support plates.
