Users who choose to employ a drain hose should remove the drain pipe cap then attach an 8 mm (0.31 in.) diameter drain hose measuring 900 mm (35.43 in.) that connects to the oil filter bracket before passing the hose through the engine under cover until it reaches a place where a container can catch the oil. To finish the task remove the oil filter by using Special Service Tool: 09228-07501, dispose of the drain hose before replacing the drain pipe cap and cleaning the oil catch plate.
