Use Special Service Tool: 07112-66040 to fix the pressure plate onto a work surface and remove the pressure plate with both Special Service Tool: 07112-66040 and 07112-76060 while using a socket wrench before extracting the shims from the plate. Use Special Service Tool: 95994-10020 to remove the snap ring while keeping it beveled upwards before tapping off the rotor gently using a plastic hammer on the shaft while watching for pulley damage. Special Service Tool: 95994-10020 removes snap rings where the beveled side should face upward so the user can extract the stator. The reverse order of what was used in disassembly becomes the reassembly protocol. The magnetic clutch clearance needs verification through this procedure: mounting the dial indicator on the pressure plate yet connecting the magnetic clutch wire to the positive battery terminal along with using the negative terminal to test the pressure plate and rotor gap.
