How to install the crankshaft position sensor and generator assembly on Scion xB?

Lightly oil O-ring; install crankshaft position sensor without twisting, torque 9.0 Nm. Fit harness, clamp, connector. Install generator: Bolt A 21 Nm, B 52 Nm; attach terminal B wire, nut 9.8 Nm, then clamp/connector. Fit harness clamps, fan/V-belt, engine rear RH under cover; tighten negative cable 5.4 Nm. Inspect leaks.

How to remove the Crankshaft Position Sensor on Scion xB?

To access the Crankshaft Position Sensor, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery then lift the engine under cover, fan and the generator V belt. Unbolt the generator assembly along with connector and wire harness and disconnect the generator assembly. Lastly, get the connector of the sensor and strip its securing bolt.
