In order to lift off the Charcoal Canister Assembly, disconnect the connector, fuel tank vent hoses and purge hose. Wipe off the connector, do not use tools on the nylon tube. Unbolt the canister and replace it with the new one, fasten it with bolts and reconnect all the hoses and connector.

To fix the Evaporative Emission Control Canister you have to unhook the negative battery terminal and then wait 90 seconds. Disassemble canister by unconnecting connectors, clamps, and tubes.
