The suction hose sub-assy disconnect process requires using Special Service Tool: 09870-00015 to engage the piping clamp before pushing down to free the clamp lock and removing the clamp. After capping all open fittings you must remove the 2 O-rings from the suction hose sub-assy while sealing the openings with vinyl tape. Use Special Service Tool: 09870-00025 to disconnect sub-assy A of the liquid tube in the same procedure. Use your hands to take out the heater control knob followed by removing the instrument cluster finish panel sub-assy CTR, instrument panel sub-assy w/passenger Air Bag assy together with the instrument panel assy lower w/instrument panel reinforcement and air conditioning amplifier assy and ECM as you detach claws and disconnect connectors before removing screws. Connectors should be detached from the air conditioning blower assy before removing its bolts, nuts, and screws. The system receives a specified refrigerant amount of 380 plus or minus 30 g (13.9 plus or minus 1.1 oz.) before engine warming followed by a leak inspection.
