The Scion Ignition Lock Cylinder allows you to have safe control of your starting sporty compact and lock the steering until the right key turns. Scion cars were the cars of a youth without any haggle pricing, brash colors, and fun Release Series editions that were sort of a hobby gear. Another good example is Scion that was also a test lab and introduced new technology and selling like a virtual city where consumers browsed trims online. Over one million first time purchasers had fun in their fingers and simple personalization, and although Scion ceased production in 2016 the spirited culture continues to sway compact design. The freedom is still being raved today by many Scion fans. The Ignition Lock Cylinder is a small housing made of metal which contains the tumblers that are shaped like your key, after the ignition the turn is connected to the electrical switch and holds the column together when the key is removed. It is a tedious task however with a simple toolkit to replace an old Ignition Lock Cylinder. Disconnect the battery, disconnect the steering column shrouds and turn the key to ACC. Slide the worn part out of place by pressing the release tab through the access hole and positioning any bezel or immobilizer ring in the new Ignition Lock Cylinder. Fit the new part to the slot and press until it fits. Install the shrouds again, reconnect the battery, ensure the keys rotate smoothly, assure the engine is started, and ensure the locks on the wheel after getting rid of the key.
