A new Door Hinge can be installed easily provided one remains organized. Find a flat surface to park, unplug the battery and prop the door up using a jack or helper to get the Door Hinge unloaded. Identify the locations of the current bolts, push up the trim where it may be in the way, then use a socket to loosen the bolts and have the door in position, then remove the hinge assembly of the old Door Hinge. Install the replacement Door Hinge, insert bolts by hand, adjust the door to create even gaps and click the latch as needed, tighten the bolts, reconnect wiring, grease the joint, swing the door a few times to ensure smooth operation so that every proud Scion owner can maintain the ride feeling fresh.
