The Scion Cam Gear maintains the breathing cycle of the engine at the appropriate time, and it opens the valves in time to ensure that the spirited compact provides a robust power supply and clean efficiency. Having been born in 2003, Scion garnered up the auto industry with smooth small models, one-price shopping, bright colors, and the bold Release Series that allowed the buyers to stand out. Scion reached the young drivers through Virtual Scion City and pop culture events, which sold over a million vehicles and welcomed many first-time owners into the Toyota fold. Although the manufacturing process was discontinued in 2016, the Scion experiment remains relevant in the way corporations explore new options and how drivers desire easy, enjoyable customization. The Cam Gear is a toothed wheel on the camshaft inside each engine, which is connected to the belt to coordinate the activities of pistons and valves. In order to install the new Cam Gear, it is instructed to unhook the battery and rotate the crank to the top dead center. Take off the covers, old wheel and leave the old timing marks in place. Insert the locating key, apply thread locker to the bolt, fit in the new Cam Gear and tighten it. Refit the chain or belt, then set to proper tension, and then two rotations of the crank to verify centering. Installation: with the battery, start the motor and listen to a steady idle. Installation covers reconnect the battery and start the motor.
