When dealing with the headlamp dimmer switch remove the cable from the negative battery terminal then wait for ninety seconds to prevent the Air Bag from activating. The front wheels need to be set at a direct angle. The first step is steering pad removal before proceeding to disconnect the wheel assembly from the Hatchback or Sedan model. Remove the steering column cover which exclusively fits the current service model. Remove the spiral cable from the wiper switch then disconnect the two connectors which are attached to that switch. Use a screwdriver with a taped tip for removing the wiper switch by unlocking the claw mechanism so you do not harm the claw structure. You will finish the removal process by disconnecting the connector from the headlight dimmer switch then following the illustrations to get rid of it while disengaging the two claws.
