How to install the hood cable assembly and related components on 2010 Toyota Camry?

The hood cable assembly installation requires passing the cable into the engine compartment before routing through the upper radiator support until clamps reach their correct position. After that, position and secure the hood lock control lever before joining the hood cable. Wrap MP grease over the moving parts of the lock then link the hood cable before mounting the hood lock assembly with 3 bolts which require a 7.5 Nm (77 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf) torque. Use the grommet to mount the high pitched horn assembly followed by attaching the front fender splash shield sub-assembly with 4 screws and securing it using a bolt together with 5 clips. The hood sub-assembly requires an inspection and necessary adjustments. After installing the front bumper assembly the technician must mount the front wheel opening extension pad with three screws before putting on the front wheel.
