The engine coolant drainage process should happen first before you remove the fan and generator V belt and generator assembly. The water pump pulley requires Special Service Tool: 09960-10010 09962-01000 to remove its 4 securing bolts. The water pump assembly removal proceeds with crankshaft position sensor clamp detachment from the pump before disconnecting the connected wire and extracting clamp bracket and 4 bolts with 2 nuts. A screwdriver should be used to create space between the water pump and cylinder block structure with great care to protect their contact surfaces.
