- Q: How to install the oil pressure switch on 2010 Scion xB?A: The installation of the 2AZ-FE lubrication system oil pressure switch requires two or three threads of adhesive from Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1344 or Three Bond 1344 or an equivalent product. The deep socket wrench 24 mm should be used to install the oil pressure switch at a torque value of 15 Nm (153 kgf-cm, 11 ft-lbf). The engine should never be started until 1 hour has passed after installation. Post-installation, you should connect the connector before checking oil levels and examining for engine oil leaks.
