A proper installation process of the ECM for the 2AZ-FE engine control system begins with attaching four screws between the bracket and the ECM followed by tightening two bolts at the ECM to 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf). Attach the 2 ECM connectors after you complete the installation of lock knobs and harness clamp before securing the wire harness clamp. The air cleaner assembly installation begins with installing the three 7.0 Nm (71 kgf-cm, 62 in-lbf) torqued bolts that secure the air cleaner case sub-assembly followed by fixture of wire harness and air cleaner filter element sub-assembly. Before installation of the wire harness, tighten the No. 1 air cleaner hose clamp and connect the mass air flow meter connector to the locked air cleaner cap sub-assembly with its air cleaner hose.
