The second step requires removing the number 2 battery carrier. The next step requires disconnecting the connector from the assembly located at the park/neutral position switch. The transmission control cable assembly requires removal from the control shaft lever after releasing its connecting nut followed by removing the control shaft lever itself and its nut. The screwdriver helps you detach the lock plate while another screwdriver removes both the lock plate and manual valve shaft along with its nut. The procedure ends by taking out the two bolts and extracting the park/neutral position switch assembly from the manual valve lever shaft position.
