- Q: How to install the front Crankshaft Seal on 2010 Scion xB?A: Before installing the new front crankshaft oil seal on 2AZ-FE engines it is essential to lubricate its lip with MP grease. Special Service Tool: 09223-22010 with a hammer allows to tap the oil seal into the rear oil seal retainer edge while maintaining a free lip of foreign matter and following a vertical tapping position. Install the crankshaft pulley while using Special Service Tool: 09213-54015 91651-60855 to mount the pulley in position then tighten its bolt to 180 Nm (1835 kgf-cm, 133 ft-lbf). Then install the fan together with the generator V belt while checking for engine oil leaks and verifying the engine oil level. Complete the process by first installing the rear engine under cover RH before fastening the front wheel RH with a torque value of 103 Nm (1050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf).
