During the measurement check ensure the clearance between Special Service Tool: 09960-20010 and the front axle assembly matches 1 mm (0.04 in.). Special Service Tools: 09960-20010 and 09961-02010 enable front axle assembly ball joint removal by maintaining tool segment A and B parallel and placing the wrench on the correct spot to prevent dust cover damage as you extract the ball joint.
