The first step is to take out the front axle assembly while setting it inside a vise carefully without excessive torque. Install Special Service Tool: 09960-20010 on the front lower ball joint after removing its nut and cotter pin. Special Service Tool: 09960-20010 needs 1 mm (0.04 in) clearance space when measuring it between the tool and the front axle assembly. Special Service Tools (09960-20010 and 09961-02010) should be used to remove the front lower ball joint from the front axle assembly.
